Reuse, reduce, recycle. The flexible tubes of bicycles tires from India intertwine to create textures.
A conceptual rug, sustainable, and unprecedented, made from 100% recycled material, ideal for indoors and outdoors. Each piece is created with 130 to 140 bicycle tubes collected and manipulated in India. In addition to raising awareness of recycled products, Bicicleta also represents a transgressive aesthetic for the most avant-garde spaces.
Curiosity and research regarding recycled rubber to create new textures was the driving force behind this project. The solution appeared during a trip to India: inner tubes from bicycle tires, their most common mode of transportation.

Material
100% recycled rubber. Rubber material that is 100% recycled in India, elastic and resistant. It is water-repellent, and a great thermal and electrical insulator. In this case, the inner tubes of bicycle tires have been recycled. Once cleaned and processed, they are used to weave in the same manner as thread.
Care
Vacuum frequently.
Clean any stains with the appropriate solution before they dry.
Take the rug to specialized dry cleaners, if necessary.

Free shipping in Norway on all orders on homeware that is in stock, exceeding 1000 kr. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout.
Standard handling time for all items in stock is 1-3 days, in addition to the postal service's delivery time.
Most of our furniture is not kept in stock and are subject to a certain delivery time stated in the product description.
Returns and Non-Refundable Products
Products that are stocked (including everyting from Tekla, even if the product is not in stock) can be returned within 14 days. This applies for most of our homeware and all products from Tekla.
