1616 / arita japan
Arita, a village on Kyushu Island in Japan, has a long history of porcelain production dating back to year 1616. Today, Arita still produces ceramics using local craftsmen and unique clay made from crushed stone. Inspired by these traditions, designer Teruhiro Yanagihara created 1616/arita japan, a new ceramics brand with a modern design approach and reflect the extraordinary workmanship, thinness, and strength of original Arita ware.
Kollekted by is the first and only retailer of 1616/arita japan in Norway.
