The Akari 1A is symetrical, soft shaped table lamp that emits warm light and contributes to an inviting atmosphere. The Akari Light Sculptures by Isamu Noguchi are a series of luminaires, handcrafted from traditional washi paper by Japanese artisans. The Swiss brand Vitra distributes the Akari lamps in Europe in collaboration with The Noguchi Museum.

The delivery time for the Akari lamps are characterized by high international demand and the capacity allowed by manual production. We have selected models in stock, and can otherwise order all models from Vitra's range on request. Please contact us for an accurate delivery time.
Ordering
We are an independent, family run business, handling all orders locally from our Oslo store, Norway. Once you order, you will receive an email from us, letting you know about the shipping and delivery time.
Shipping
Free shipping in Norway on all orders above 1000 kr, except on heavier goods, like sofas, lounge chairs, dining tables, larger shelves, rugs and sofa tables. If in doubt, please ask us.
The shipping cost is calculated at checkout. You can always choose to collect in our Oslo store or warehouse outside Oslo for larger items, for free. For home deliveries on larger items, please contact the store.
Standard handling time for all items in stock is 1-3 days, in addition to the postal service's delivery time.
Most of our furniture is not kept in stock and are subject to a certain delivery time stated in the product description.
Returns and Non-Refundable Products
We have a standard 14 days return policy, except on custom-made and made to order furniture, lighting and rugs. Please ask if in doubt.
